It’s Election Day! Polls are open from 7 AM to 7 PM for the March 18 special election. If you haven’t voted early, June 17 is your last chance to cast your ballot.
Registered voters must go to their assigned polling place to vote. Polls will be open from 7 AM to 7 PM. If you’re in line by 7 PM, you will be allowed to vote.
Some tips before you head out:
- Bring a valid photo ID.
- Confirm your assigned polling place. You can find a list of them using our Emanuel County Polling Locations Guide and determine which one you should report to using our Voting Maps.
- If you voted by mail, your ballot must be received by 7 PM to be counted.
- If you have trouble at your polling place, you may be able to vote provisionally. Not sure what provisional voting is? Our Provisional Voting Guide breaks it all down.
Our elections superintendent provides more Election Day guidance in our Combined Voting Guide.
Once polls close, election officials will finalize and report the total number of ballots cast, including provisional ballots and vote-by-mail ballots received before the deadline. This report is due by 11:59 PM.
