Chamber Board

The Swainsboro-Emanuel County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors serves as the guiding force behind the chamber’s mission to promote local business success and foster economic growth throughout Emanuel County. Meeting once a month at the chamber office, the board provides strategic oversight, sets priorities, and ensures the chamber remains responsive to the needs of the business community.

The board is composed of local business and community leaders who bring diverse perspectives and expertise to their roles. Officers, also referred to as the executive board, are selected through an internal process and serve in leadership capacities on a rotating basis as part of a structured term cycle. This ensures continuity in leadership while welcoming fresh ideas to support the chamber’s initiatives.

We include this information to maintain transparency about the individuals shaping the direction of the chamber and while servitude on the chamber board is a rewarding opportunity, all inquiries and nominations regarding board membership are handled directly through the chamber, not the county commission. This allows the chamber to remain focused on its mission and aligned with the needs of its membership and keeps the county government out of the private business sector.
