Staying informed is important, whether you’ve lived here your whole life or you’re just passing through. As a county, we prioritize keeping our citizens updated on government news, emergency information, and community initiatives. However, because of our unique position along the I-16 corridor and on the fringe of the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA), Emanuel County is covered by a variety of media outlets ranging from hyperlocal sources to regional and statewide news providers.

Below, you’ll find a list of those news sources—including our local newspaper, radio station, and regional TV and print outlets. This list is meant to help citizens and visitors find reliable news about our community. It is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute an endorsement by Emanuel County government.
